1. Overview

• Problem Statement : With the MATTER protocol to unify Smart home IOT based devices, there should be attempts made to provide a common ground for application for such devices.

{The aim here is to draw similar approaches from smart home apps such as google home and apple home and see and to try developing a platform which unifies the two said applications.}

• Solution : Across 7 weeks of design sprints based on the design thinking methodology, which includes 5 stages: empathise, define, ideate, prototype and test. I was able to create a full app UI with high fidelity prototyping. Initially starting with Low fidelity layouts and wireframing, making the app an easy and seamless experience for the users.

Providing easier ways to link devices to the application.

Enabling users to create automations and routines.

Making controlling a smart home as easy as using a toy.
